Agreed. xkcd: stop inventing perfect girls that fail to exist. Cases in point: http://www.xkcd.com/c162.html http://www.xkcd.com/c108.html Agreed. They exist. It's just that, for a first approximation, the pairing don't have the social skills between them to meet. Now, someone thought about doing a...

And yet...

It can't be real. She didn't point out that she'd noticed that, or better, point it out before he typed that.

so did the door appear too, or had it always been there? I've just finished reading House Of Leaves, by Mark Z. Danielewski. In that book, doors did just appear when you weren't looking. Walls vanished. And they all did so in a space that plainly didn't exist, due to the door being in an outside wa...

Paleantologist, obviously. However it's spelt.

I thought she was Carmine The Bowler's daughter! She had his skull in a pink and sparkly translucent bowling ball, since he died falling down a lift shaft onto some bullets.

My prank...

I had actually thought of something similar for an April Fools prank. Find some motorway (freeway) cones. Lots of them. .. a breadth-first traversal. At least, the way I do it is. I'm reading, I see a link to another article, and so I middle-click it, opening it in a new, backgrounded tab. When I'm done with the page I'm on, i close that tab, and read the next one. If the tree is wide, then I lose track when I go fro...

It irritates me NO END that the person who I give a lift to in my car most often has to check their pockets for their cell phone, their PDA, their wallet EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just put them in the same pockets every time and this won't happen. And don't give me any excuses about not having enough pocke...

WWED bands...

I read in one thread that Ryan would be happy with someone else selling the WWED bands if they could be made, and then I've read in this thread that he's getting quotes. Now I'm confused as to what the current situation is, so let me muddy the water some more. I've just asked a company here in the U...
