Re: 891: Movie Ages

I'm 23 but I never saw the matrix until 2 months ago. Does that make me 12 years old at heart? :D (And, no I'm not a movie person, obviously. In fact I the only other ones on this list I even remember are Jurassic Park and Home Alone. I doubt if I've watched even 1% of the movies that have come out ...

Re: 0889: Turtles

ok, enough arguing. Can we all just agree that this is the worst. xkcd. ever? Huh, you think that one is bad? Novice. If you don't agree, which one is worse? Ladies and gentlemen, the comic that broke xkcdexplained : http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/mutual.png I have to agree that the above is the worst...

I don't get it. It just looks like he tried to make stick figure drawings and text look even worse by drawing them with his toes or something.

Re: 0845: "Modern History"

I thought it was funny. In fact the only part I laughed at was the alt text. I'm also in the military. People in the military chose the life they're in when they decided to have a family and be in the military. It doesn't just happen. So there's no sympathy from me for people like this. And Randall'...

Re: 0842: "Mark"

Ahh, the good ol' days of the pen fifteen club. I remember a specific instance of tricking this girl to join the pen fifteen club in high school. And the next day she was rather upset: ' "So, someone asked me, yesterday, why I had 'penis' written on my hand." *glare* I laughed. <3 ya Randall

Re: 0839: Explorers

NO!!! a3 is a BLACK SQUARE god dammit! Is it bad if I registered simply to whine about that? I created an account just to say this: The white and black squares are reversed. The Bishop claims to be on a3, a black square (similarly the knight is on c3, a black square). I don't know... the squares th...

Re: 0831: "Weather Radar"

I giggle when people complain that an Ipod's shuffle isn't random. That's because it's "shuffle" not "random." When you shuffle a deck of cards it doesn't make the cards random. It sets them up in an order that you don't know the order of. Just the same as Ipod's shuffle.

Re: 0828: "Positive Attitude"

Love this comic. I believe a positive attitude can't hurt (as long as you stay realistic), but it's not the cure. Nor is a negative attitude a cause for a worsening sickness. With that said, I generally try to live with a positive attitude most of the time, because I know it's simply a choice for me...

Re: 0817: "Mutual"

I usually like most of the comics since I realize they're not always supposed to be funny, but this one was pretty bad. I don't think you should need the alt text to make sense of the comic itself. Just the comic by itself looks like a big pile of emo. I was really looking forward to a decent comic ...

Re: "Floor Tiles" Discussion

I thought of a few more. This one may just be more of a nervous habit, but I always find myself folding a peice of paper, if it's one I don't need anymore. I fold it in halves, diagonals, quarters, and corners-to-centers (based on where the other half folds intersect) and it ends up looking like a b...

Re: "Floor Tiles" Discussion

The floor tiles thing is something I see kids do. But maybe there is more people who do, it's just that the kid makes it obvious that they're only trying to step on certain tiles. As for sidewalks, I've given up on having the same stride to equal the length of a sidewalk block. I/my legs are too sho...

Alternative Comic: At the funeral, Man 1:"The doctors said she died because she was confused by a random statement of love. Being in a love daze, she crashed into oncoming traffic." Man 1:"Apparently she kept repeating the words of that statement as she was died on the stretcher."...
