Re: Robot kills man.

I can see two reasons for it. First, if you're going to shoot yourself make sure you actually die. Normally, you're able to shoot yourself only once and one shot can easily leave you with brain damage and paralytic but alive. What better way to make sure to die and stay dead than building a machine ...

I generally refer to people of the "America is the world, everything else is unimportant" mentality (only those from the US) as Americans. All others from the US as US civilian/citizen (as appropriate). As someone from 'South America' I do the same thing, although I use USian instead of '...

I can grow a full beard but I tend to dislike it. However, I have a slight problem. I can't grow a circle beard (goatee + connected mustache). It fails to connect in my right side. Left side? No problem, maybe somewhat slower than the rest of my face, but it grows. Right side? Nothing at all besides...

Re: You gotta get into Dwarf Fortress if you haven't already.

The first time I played this game it was the old version, 2D. I never got into it. I found it boring and too complex. Curiously enough, when I tried out the 3D version I was sucked into it. I spent a week playing it, rejoicing when the new version with some bugs (well crash anyone?) was released. I ...

Re: Eating out of packet

Closest thing I've come to that is eating a spoonful of peanut butter straight from the jar. Same with Nutella. I have actually done both: scoop up half a spoonful or peanut butter, then half a spoonful of Nutella. It's like a Reese's Cup, but in convenient spoon form. I do that with half a spoonfu...

One Hundred Years of Solitude. I don't remember why but I hated it when I had to read it for school. I find Marques' style annoying.

The Little Prince. What's the big deal about it? It's just a big metaphor made book.
