Re: 1864: "City Nicknames"

I'm 90% sure "Land of Trains and Fog" is a Homestuck reference. That said, the acronym "LOTAF" is already taken.

It's quoted in your link, but here's the original if you still want it.

Re: 1334: "Second"

I'm sure Google considers this comic a complement. That is, their first page has such relevant results that if the answer isn't there, it isn't anywhere. For my part, if I don't find something on the first page, I tend to refine my search terms rather than going to page two. So I guess that's a poss...

Re: 1185: "Ineffective Sorts"

So I looked up " Bogosort " on Wikipedia and found this: An in-joke among some computer scientists is that quantum computing could be used to effectively implement a bogosort with a time complexity of O(n). It uses true quantum randomness to randomly permute the list. The list is then insp...

...I should probably go post this on the actual talk page there. In hopes of reaching 50,000 words without resolving anything? At least calm down first. You don't sound very clear-headed when you go around calling people morons just because you disagree. (Not to mention calling the issue cut-and-dr...

Re: 1055: "Kickstarter"

I can certainly imagine large companies being able to set up more impressive Kickstarter campaigns than most people could on their own.

But on the other hand, videos made on shoestring budget can still go viral. Why would Kickstarter campaigns be any different?

Sounds a little hard to test...

Also, due to the fact that this comic mentions religion, I fully expect this topic to have reached 6 pages of debate by Friday (plus 1-3 pages of other comments). That's just how it works.
