wario ware kept me entertained for like two hours. then i got rid of it. wii sports or play though, are great fun. not all of the games/sports though, at least not right away. in wii sports, i find the bowling most appealing for first time users and the tennis next. in wii play i really only liked t...

Re: Operating Systems

I like Linux, minus the wireless card issues and the fact that I haven't found a music player that I like yet. Windows is ok; it does dumb things sometimes but for the most part it works well. Macs are pretty and fun and I can use them just as well as anything else, but dear sweet Jeebus do I despi...

Re: Operating Systems

I honestly don't like the Mac OS X UI. I wanted to, but it really isn't very good. It's pretty, sure, but (at least when I last used it) it was actually quite poorly designed. I hate how people get confused between good design and pretty design. What is it that's so bad about it? I've been using it...

Re: Operating Systems

in my experience, windows wont run smoothly for long unless you install firewalls and antivirus programs and such. I ran my older computer for 5 years, most of the time in XP, and without external firewalls or always-on AV. It ran fine. I had to reinstall only 3 times: once for a hardware hard driv...

Are they ever making a MacBook that isn't a lead brick? Thats a reason to never go Apple, those laptops are thick and weight a ton. Re: Operating Systems

i definitely prefer mac osx. probably mostly because i'm used to it now. windows annoys me with the warnings and stuff most of the time, also the fact that you have to use a bazillion different command functions in the os gui, as opposed to just a command button (alt+tab, ctrl+v, windowsbutan+e etc ...
