Re: "Density" Discussion

My first reaction before reading the pros/cons part, was 'why is that chick having sex with a mentally retarded man?'

Re: "A Bunch of Rocks" Discussion

After reading through the replies so far, I am both impressed by the discussions, entertained by the various theories put forth...and surprised that only one person has so far detailed a way in which to make it porn. This is the internet people! Why are you thinking?

If given the option, I'd definitely pick the LAN party. However, having been an isolated homeschooler all the way through high school, neither option was available for me. I've since been to one of my college homecoming dances. Date-free and with a group of strangers. Let's just say I amused myself ...

Great comic. And add me to list of people who can empathize with the narrator. It hurts to know that a person you talked to all night and watched the sunrise with is choosing to spend their life with someone else. Especially when that person is someone you despise for completely separate reasons. Ma...

If annoying "that guy" by continuing to play isn't satisfying enough for you, you can always make a demonic mockery of his most holy relic . If you don't have the skills to build your own, you can always shell out about $400 for a pre-built one. This comic is a definite win. I haven't got...

I thought this comic was pretty simple, but definitely good. Though I found the forum discussion just as interesting. And I do have the 'holy crap, it's the future!' realization every once in a while. It's the small things that get me the most. For example, video games getting more complex, with lif...

great comic. Am I the only one here who never had such calculators? I only used 'normal' ones, with a screen with just a single row of digits. No, you're definitely not. I didn't even know those 'fancy shmancy' calculators did anything other than somewhat more complex math problems. I barely even u...

Granted. You never again waste a minute of your time on entertainment or non-productive activities. This lack of rest causes you to go slowly insane, and you die at a young age of a stress-related heart attack. I wish I had somewhere between 15 and 40 hours per week at my new job, that I still got p...

Granted. Every undone corruption is immediately applied to yourself, and you die in several hundred horrifyingly painful ways.

I wish there wasn't tons of dog hair all over my apartment, or anywhere else near me.

Granted. You finally achieve sufficient motivation to begin cleaning, fifteen minutes before a fire destroys everything you own.

I wish I had no sex drive.

This comic made me feel like I was in some small way connected to a world where things that awesome actually happen. Now I must forever search for a way back.

And I can't get over the pure beauty of the Princess Bride line.

P.S. I second Moo's deification of Randall proposal.

As a geeky girl, I can say that I would never harm a man's computer. I might destroy his clothes, car, home, or even harm him, but I would never mess with his computer. Also, if someone ever messed with my files...They. Would. Die. Painfully.

Re: "Classic" Discussion

I do agree that the greats of the 60's and 70's, the ones that have become true classics, beat out a great percentage of the stuff being made today. But I think you also have to look at the big picture. Even in the 'good old days' there were tons and tons of just horrible bands and musical artists. ...

Even though I don't think this is one of Randall's best romance themed comics, it still strikes a painful chord for me.

You don't have to dislike a person to want to forget them. Good memories can hurt a lot more than painful ones.

Hmm. A good way to determine if a person is interested in you. Tell them the rule. Continue to normally socialize for half an hour. Then claim to have no clue what to do. Turn down all suggestions they make for 45 minutes. Remind them of the rule. See how desperate to find an alternative activity th...
