English Man In Canada Land

A friend of mine does a very interesting web show on youtube. He is trying to get some popularity and I figured it was the type of show this site and it's users might enjoy. He is from England and now lives in Canada and does a show based on some of the cultural differences between the two. Here is ...

Re: No Raptors: Shirt of Win

A friend's girlfriend bought that No Raptors shirt second hand from a store in town here (no idea why anyone would ever sell it) but she said the same thing about it, she also said it was her favourite shirt. I showed her a few of his other comics and the only one she found funny was cat proximity.

Thanks for the help, I will give it a shot.

If I set it to boot from the SATA drive as a priority would I need to change it back since I always want to boot from that drive anyways?

Recovering files from an old hard drive.

I did some googling and it didn't help with my query. Long story short, I had an older PC and it gave out on me, when it died it was so out of date I didn't bother trying to fix it or recover any of the data as there was nothing really important on it. Recently a friend of mine asked me for a copy o...

Thanks for the quick and informative post. The only thing that troubles me is I use projectors in a dimly lit room and when my projector is off the screen doesn't look nearly as black as when the the projector is running. Plus I can still use it with the lights on and while it doesn't look nearly as...

Home Theatre Projector Optics

I understand how colours are seen by my eyes. And I understand what black is. That being said when I have a front projector set up and it is shinning onto a white screen how does that setup reproduce the colour black? I did some research online and the most credible answer I could find was that is h...

I am not entirely convinced Ellen is the last cylon. All we have to base this on is a vision Tigh had, which is profound enough. But I am honestly expecting this to be a misdirection tactic. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chief had a vision Kaylee or if Tori had a vision of Billy as the last cylon i...

I just found out they have released a demo for the new Dawn of War expansion ... Dark Eldar and Sisters of Battle!!! Pretty fun, the DE look and sound very menacing. It is interesting that people seem to be getting higher scores on Halo 3 as opposed to Halo 2.

You would think any advantage they gained would also be gained by there opponents and somehow counteracted.

Are you against the idea of a used camera? If you are looking for some decent digital SLR's the Canon Rebel XT (notice there is no i) or the Nikon D40 (no x) are both very good models that will do pretty much everything you want. Plus it is hard to charge a smash attack when using the c-stick.
