I'd never heard of that song, so I YouTubed it. ...ow, my eyes. I love all the trashy/shitty techno-pop, like LMFAO and Ke$ha, and it drives my roommate, a techno DJ, absolutely nuts. Well, if "techno DJ" is indeed how your roommate refers to himself, then he's got no place to complain. Th...

Re: 0968: "Everything"

In a way, this comic is jarring, because of how it debunks the portrayal of love in movies and TV and such as basically just blind infatuation. I'm sure it's different for different people, and some very passionate people may even experience love the way the movies show it - "You are my everyth...

Regarding the stars thing, if you ever wander through the southern hemisphere on a cloudless, dark area during a moonless night, you can certainly experience the depth of space with just a few minutes of concentration. Just lay on your back looking at the sky for a while. Af first it will look flat...

Yes... I named my friend Catherine Kitten.

Re: Half-Life vs. Half Life 2

I'm more of a fan of HL2 than HL1. Part of the reason for that is that I played both of them in 2008-2009, since that's when I started gaming (and I'm 19 - kinda late to the party, I know, but better late than never :) ). People had higher standards for videogame graphics then, and I was no exceptio...

I agree with the negative feedback loop idea. I'm friends with many geeks, and hardly any are the "socially inept" kind. We've all learned from each other that it isn't your hobbies that defines how "well-liked" you are, but rather your attitude. If you go into a social situation...
