I've enjoyed the first couple of episodes, but Jada Pinkett Smith's awfulness is threatening to ruin the whole thing. Also not too sure about Cock-er-ney Alfred. The penguin's story is promising though.

Lots of people seem to be comparing Alan Hutton to a marauding, world-cup-winning right-back and are suggesting he could even play centre midfield for Villa this season.

Personally I think it's just Hutton dressed as Lahm.

It obviously wasn't as bad as Schumacher, but he knew exactly what he was doing. That's your opinion, and you're also looking at it skewed. Was it legal? Of course it was. End of conversation. I work for a local newspaper. I've just written a story which mentioned Peter Capaldi in which I referred to him as 'the new Doctor Who'.

It hurt, but I know my editor would not have let me get away with calling him 'the 12th incarnation of the doctor in Doctor Who'. It just takes up too much space.

According to the latest census results (released a few weeks ago), 62 per cent of people living in Scotland felt Scottish only, 18 per cent felt both Scottish and British, and 8.4 per cent felt British only. Question for the people who are no longer living with their parents: how often do you talk to them, and how far do you live.
