Clearly! Where I did my undergrad, it was maybe 1/3 female. Now, there's 17 PhD students in my year, only one of which is female.

I hate clubs. Loud, bad music making conversation impossible. And there's not enough liquor in the world to make dancing seem like a good idea. And the claustrophobia I get in pressing crowds like that. Crowds full of sweaty drunks.
