Re: 1003: "Adam and Eve"

Eh not that funny. If it causes a huge bout of controversy, however, that'll be hilarious.

For the uninformed, Abel was one of Adam and Eve's first two sons. Apparently he had a bit of an Oedipus complex. Or did Oedipus have an Abel complex?

That's funny, I didn't know Randall was into Urolagnia.

...That's how I interpreted it, at least

Re: 899: "Number Line"

This Comic, argh, must become smarter, learn what it means. It saddens me how little an amount of references I am actually getting(Or is Randall fooling with me and there are no references to get? argh!) The part that gave it away for me is "observed". It's halfway between e and pi just li...

Re: 891: Movie Ages

This didn't really make me laugh though. :( It's not supposed to, It's supposed to make you feel old, the funny part is when you use it to make OTHER people feel old. Muahahaha.... By the way, I wasn't even around for Terminator or Home Alone, and yet I remember them as integral parts of my childho...

Clearly you must be mistaken since, as this photo clearly shows, falcons can wear hats, and raptors, as we know, cannot:

Re: ITT: We make xkcd slightly worse.

Phew after spending what feels like months (it was actually a couple weeks), reading through this thread to make sure I wouldn't repeat anything, and ignoring the suggestions to use xkcdsw.com/sources so that I could proceed with my original excuse of reading through the whole thread to make sure I ...

Re: 0889: Turtles

I like it, it reminds me of the old days where xkcd didn't make sense, nor try not to make sense.. a simpler time, when men were men and toilet paper were leaves.

Re: 0887: "Future Timeline"

Absolutely awesome comic... Was I the only one reading the list and counting off what could potentially occur in my own lifetime, then breathing a sigh of relief when I read immortality? ;-) You certainly weren't the only one. I even remarked on the fact that by that prediction I would only have to...

Re: 0887: "Future Timeline"

That last one was pure win. However the comic really is a very interesting view into how we, as a society, predict the future. Especially interesting are contradicting and repeated statements. You really have to wonder where the predictions come from, and why some of them are so shaky.

Re: 0880: "Headache"

Old Comics still have their alt-text in the source, if they had a transcript. Can't display it though. Furthermore I think it's pretty cool how that guy managed to write a program to automatically convert all comics, even when some of the old ones are kind of buggy. The parser is crazy fun, haha. Th...

I really liked this one, as opposed to some of the past ones. This was simple and genuinely funny. The alt-text is pretty good too, can't wait till the next time I see a bird so I can go "Watch out for that dinosaur!"

Re: 0859: "("

Just created my account, it was about time. I just wanted to say that when I first read the comic, I thought he used an unclosed parentheses to signal the beginning of something...something awesome!!! So when you see a comic with an unopened right parentheses at the end of it, you'll remember me, an...
