I have an iRiver h10, which I bought off woot for $90. 20 gigs with a good battery life. Installed rockbox (as the default system is shit), and it is *awesome*. I have doom on my mp3 player! :D

Does anyone have any idea how to keep them from auto-renewing it? I have searched endlessly, and the only thing I can find is spending 80 minutes talking to an indian callcenter to cancel the entire account, which I don't want to do.

It pisses me off that they make you go through this shit :(

It's not really *inferior*... just, massively limited. No third party apps is a huge turnoff for this.
