My last name is a typo.

My father is Puerto Rican and his family name is Pabon. But when he was born, the person doing his birth certificate hit a V instead of a B, so his last name became Pavon. He never got it fixed, thus my last name is Pavon.

(We pronounce it Puh-VAHN)

Different places in the refrigerator can have slightly different temperatures. Often, it's items all the way in the back that freeze more.

Different amounts of internal pressure would change the freezing point of the water.

If you do the test twice at different speeds, you have two equations and two unknowns. That's all you need; the math will determine which is which.

One concern about shifting into neutral is that it's easy to accidentally shift into reverse. Doing that at 60 mph is not a good idea.

Dance. If all you want is flexibility and balance, dance will give you that much faster than almost any martial art. Capoiera is the one possible exception, but that's only because it's essentially a dance in itself.

It's not obsession; it's analysis. And the "pet names" are abbreviations. It's way easier to write "Moggy" than "Moghedian" during discussions. And the Taimandred thing predates any tabloid name-combining.
