yankee hotel foxtrot is their best album by far, and yes wilco is awesome.

i love when the drums come in on "radio cure" (about 3:55). it really fills up the song and keeps it from dragging.

i listened to physical graffiti earlier tonight. it's weird to imagine led zep was making that at the time when they were around. some of the stuff on that album is still pretty fresh even today.

surprised to see no zeppelin songs in here. obviously their version of "when the levee breaks" is way better than the orig. also noteworthy, while maybe not better perasay, is xiu xiu's cover of "fast car" orig by tracy chapman.

i think instead of a real drum track, we would probably be better off using electronic ones. this would keep the BPM the same and anyone with a decent metronome could play along to that. icelizard, as i mentioned in my previous post, i can also do quite a bit of mixing/mastering and effects. perhaps...

Apparently a deluxe version of The Fragile is in the works. i've also heard this. i don't know how it could be any more deluxe than it already is. mastered perfectly and 2 discs worth of songs... what more could one ask for? i hope he doesn't try to remaster that album, i'll have to do something......
