Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Also, now I know that if you start talking about biscuits, you don't mean what I think you mean. And that you have no idea what barbeque is. Oh, you think you do, but you're wrong. ...sorry, I tend to bring that up when dealing with UK/Commonwealth folk... I'll stop now. Wow, I didn't know that. Yo...

Re: Google discontinuing support for old browsers

So here, Google is acting like the big company everyone works with, and is forced to upgrade because of. Hopefully. Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

I find intro threads useless, but this one was in capitals, and I'm new to the forums (or, new to posting in the forums), so felt obliged to post here. Unfortunately I've nothing particularly witty to say, and simply stating my name or any particular greeting seems superfluous given usernames and s...

Re: Google discontinuing support for old browsers

So I guess it depends on whether workplaces are forced to upgrade, or just don't and leave staff/students/etc without access? It just feels kind of risky, then, for the user?

Google discontinuing support for old browsers

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I think it is news, even if it's a tad late. :3 http://googledocs.blogspot.com/2011/06/our-plans-to-support-modern-browsers.html Our plans to support modern browsers across Google Apps For web applications to spring even farther ahead of traditional software,...

Re: Alternative Medicine, Psuedoscience, etc.

It's dangerous to say that because we don't currently understand it, therefore it does not/cannot exist. I just finished watching an old documentary on heat and at one time they believed in a fluid that passed through a medium making it hot referred to as "caloric". A scientist disproved ...
