Don't mind the people on the footbridge, don't go off trail in the community forest, and make sure to check wildflower's for their half-off scones in the mornings.

Are you going to Humboldt state?

Cleverbot: Je trouve que le 'Ca va bien merci' était un peu hors de propos.

I read the Kama Sutra. Not nearly this cool. Half+ of it's on social relations, and what is about sex is generally categorizing the types of kisses and things kinda like.. "If the man is of a higher social status and the woman is young, she is to act bashful, even unsure of the activities prese...

Lynx scrolling problem

Alright. I'm currently using Lynx (text-based web browser) It's my first time browser the web with one, and I really dig it so far. The only hitch is that when I click the down arrow (or up, for that matter) to select the next link on a page, the screen scrolls down to the little bit of help-text at...

Re: Thinking about going vegetarian...advice? thoughts?

I dove into Veganism head first my freshmen year of high school on a Tuesday right before lunch, or something ridiculous like that. For about a year I cooked all my own food, it wasn't that bad though, and my family eventually started using oil-olive instead of butter. My diet isn't that radical - I...

I got a 3 inch knife, a nikon d40 and a white gas stove.
Three things that could get me killed/kicked out of stores.

Oh, plus 50 dollars, which went to a new rook piercing.

Re: Taking it seriously: The zombie problem

Unless we're dealing with fast zombies, I can always just step/jump back. And if your weapon is heavy enough for it's mass to help a lot with the attacks, it's probably too heavy to swing very easily. Machetes are a nice balance of weight and speed. I've carried one while backpacking before, it's n...

From what I've seen, barefoot is generally crammed to the gills with hip-young people.
If we brought blocks, we'd also have to bring nerf guns to ward everyone off. (Not that that's a bad thing)

Also. Sky high is within biking distance of the Lawrence stop on Caltrain, if my memory serves me.

Oooooo. That prepackaged goods don't count against veganism. Or that not feeding a vegan for a couple of weeks will make them non-vegan. Also, the idea that Science Fiction = Fantasy. I think the real benefit of this scenario would be the next day, walking around public places and whispering sweet nothings covertly into stranger's ears.

As covertly as anyone with a huge elliptical can manage, anyway.

I can dig the big city, I've visited Seattle a few times, it's a cleaner happier San Fransisco.
Really though, UW sounds amazing, but it'd be very expensive to go there out of state.

With that man people, you have a lot of everyone I figure.

How is UW though? I've only ever talked to one person going there.
And that was Nathan Synder, who started off leading us on a tour, and ended up walking around almost aimlessly talking about rockclimbing.
