It certainly makes sense to offer services in multiple languages, but only the common ones. In Canada, all Federal services have to give the option of either French or English. On the subject of cardboard box forts... During the last general election, one polling station was at my university. They left behind the cardboard polling booths.

So my friends and I built a fort with them. Right in the middle of the central uni building. It was AWESOME!

Epee all the way. Because if I ever get accosted by a 17th -century Frenchman in an alley, it's what'll help most. I think youd be better off fighting Spanish-style rapier. (Note, I dont do Spanish-style. Its just too close to Equlibrium type gun-fu for me.) Best thing about fighting rapier - melee.
