Re: 1054: "The Bacon"

Randall must be burning the midnight oil to come up with these.

Formal Logic and I have an open relationship, I wouldn't call it love.

Re: 1029: "Drawing Stars"

I'm european and I have never heard of this star of david = nazi thing before ever. Of course I'm English so that's not quite the same as the rest of europe culturally due to our constant americanisms but whatever. Watch the last episode of Downton Abbey, Season 1, and then read about World War II ...

Re: 1028: "Communication"

I may be a very critical person. I might be a misanthrope, I judge, I often spew venom. C'est la vie. But this comic. Is brilliant. (please pronounce that period!) It's brilliant, full stop? Anyway, I enjoy this comic if only for the timing. It's brilliant, full stop, ovary drop? I enjoy this comic...

Totally agree! Sonnet 404, on the other hand, is unfounded.

Re: 1022: "So It Has Come To This"

I'm not sure I follow, was the comment not snarky enough to be a protip? Since when was the caption supposed to be "snarky"? What kind of snarkiness was there meant to be in today's comic? I can visualize many "styles" of humour applied to the joke, except "snarkiness"...

The male porn star "It" ejaculated while listening to "This'" music album!

*edit: Sorry. But not really.

*double edit: Album title: 'You. Me. This moment.'

Fun fact: this technique appears in the CIA's interrogation manual (dated July 1963, declassified in 1997, widely available on the Inter Nets) as the "Alice in Wonderland" technique: *snip* I prefer having friends rig bombs for me that explode whenever I snap my fingers. WW3 is just going...

Re: 0975: "Occulting Telescope"

Wait, so how will the disc manage to cover the entire Earth? Because otherwise, nobody will really notice anything, even the astronomers in charge of looking at the black screens will still be able to see them as soon as they go outside. And will the disc cover only one star at a time, or will it p...

Re: 0890: Etymology

Also, this raises the whole question of naming a spaceship after a falcon. While yes, falcons are fast and nimble, their flight is completely different to that of Solo's ship. Incidentally, falcons are raptors. I always felt Millennium Dolphin would have been a decent fit, especially in the eighties.
