Re: 0953: "1 to 10"

I had a professor at university (in California) who was British in origin (Scottish I think) and used what he claimed was the normal grading scheme out there, which freaked out a lot of his (American) students until he explained it. Seems they don't neglect the bottom half of the numeric scale wher...

The Church should officially change from taking tithes to decimating the money of those in the congregation.

Re: 945: "I'm Sorry"

"My mom's house burned down"
"Good."

OR

"My mom's house burned down"
"I'm sorry to hear that. Really, I'd rather you hadn't told me. Now you expect me to pretend to care."

I hate her too.

(I'm sorry I edit so much...)

Re: 0939: "Arrow"

Milton Jones (British comedian) mentioned that he'd learned some Aboriginal words while he was in Australia. "Boo" was one, which means "to return" Because if you throw an ordinary meringue... "O Kangaroo, O Kangaroo, Be grateful that you’re in the zoo, And not transmuted b...

I saw it a long time ago. I think it came to my elementary school... They gave all of the children wiener whistles to blow.

Side note: I hope Anthony Weiner has a son named Oscar Mayer.

Re: 0935: “Missed Connections”

I go to a small university (about 1500 students or so on campus... I went to a bigger high school). Here, everyone started using likealittle.com. I think it's more effective, especially when it is split into universities instead of cities. With such a small pool of people, everyone knows exactly who...

Re: 899: "Number Line"

If Gird is integer, then so is Gird-3. 3 < Gird < 4 => 0 < Gird-3 < 1. So the integer line is now ... -2, Gird-5, -1, Gird-4, 0, Gird-3, 1, Gird-2, 2, Gird-1, 3, Gird, 4, Gird+1, 5, ... Nothing technically wrong with that, but it kind of hangs on what Gird+Gird is. It's pretty simple actually... Th...

Re: 899: "Number Line"

Gird: I think this is a reference to the Great Rhombidodecahedron, but what it is doing circa 3.5 is beyond me. Eh... I don't see any relation to the Great Rhombidodecahedron. Also, it's not at 3.5; it's an entirely new number between 3 and 4 (I suppose we're now working in base 11... but that woul...

I work at a place where the vending license is displayed on the wall behind the counter. You can't read it from the public side, but it says it expired ten years ago.
