FF XIII no longer a PS3 exclusive

Link to an E3 coverage article. Not sure if this fit in the existing final fantasy topic, but please bludgeon me stupid if it should be there. Being an xbox owner, I'm naturally ecstatic. What does concern me, though, is what sqeenix will do to ensure the game runs on both consoles. Playstation own...

If you change your windows username, all save files will "not" transfer over, and I honestly can't find where I put them anyway. Not that I really mind, after the 3rd or 4th mission, I've seen everything the game can offer. Not true! Near the end of the game, Ubisoft threw up their hands,...

Advance Wars + Final Fantasy Tactics. "Modern" turn-based warfare with RPG elements and customization.
So basically, Front Mission on a much larger scale.

Re: I WAITED TILL 5 AM AND ITS HERE DIABLO 3

For the more popular mods, there exist sizable communities who use tools like Hamachi to achieve this. Given the nature of D2's multiplayer, it isn't too much different. There are also even private servers that host "realms" for specific mods, but that's something Blizzard does not look ki...

Can anyone recommend a good cover of the themes from Ocarina of Time? Specifically, Gerudo Valley. Possibly one of the biggest reasons I want to learn guitar.

Also, Ozma's Korobeiniki is pretty cool.

I'm also somewhat interested in how moddable 3 will be. There are some pretty neat and inventive mods out there for LoD. I actually preferred this mod to the actual game. That's saying something, because I really enjoyed regular D2 as it was.

Re: What difficulty player are you?

My general methodology is to select the hardest mode available from the get-go, and turn it down if the difficulty is being ramped up in a boring/unfair manner. Call of Duty 4, for instance. Exception being RTS games: I generally suck at those for a long time before getting used to the tactics, so I...

My memory's pretty hazy, it's been a while. It might have been that I just 'ported Yuna around, and she wound up dwarfing Lulu in stats. Last semester there was a Rock Band contest at my campus. Turns out, it was far less awesome than you'd think. Re: Final Fantasy series.... favorites?

I didn't love it, but it didn't exactly stand out for being poor, either. I had some fun screwing around with the characters' archetypes. For example, I noticed Yuna was much much better at magic than Lulu was, so I sent her over to nab all the high-level spells like ultima and holy. Really, as far ...

I don't really think the story was that compelling, honestly. In GTA San Andreas, driving your car too close to pedestrians caused them to dive into your car, a la Suicide Club.

It's usually harmless (for you!) and hilarious, but when the spectators at the bike race do it too, it gets frustrating.

Agreed, but I think the emphasis is on how much one feels influenced by it. Nobody playing TF2 feels their scout is worse than the other guy's, it boils down to skill and teamwork. But there is a tangible difference when a rogue in WoW concentrates on agility bonuses, and another decides he'll wear ...

Sure, it may be possible to enjoy similar games without involving the numbers at all-- for instance, one could itemize in WoW based purely on looks. You certainly wouldn't be given a "GAME OVER" screen, but you can't deny that the character would be disadvantaged to a similar, "better...

I don't think the guns (besides the sniper rifle, of course) have a zoom, just the left-trigger stance.
Then again, I could be wrong. It seems the manual is more essential than I thought.
