I'm currently bummed because my 6 week summer internship ended, and now nobody wants to hire me because I'm leaving for school again next month. I had managed to find a barbacking job, but the place was an absolute drug-infested shithole and I don't want anything to do with it. Grrr I just want to s...

My old '91 Accord is about at the end of it's life. I'm really interested in a Vespa, but I've got to do some more research on them first. If anybody knows of a good community site or owns one themselves, please send me a PM.

Anybody else watch Avery do that reverse screen on Marty last night during the 5v3? Seemed pretty effective, wonder if he'll keep it up throughout the rest of the series.

I get hit with SAD each winter. I become less focused, less creative, less energetic, and generally less like my usual self. It bothers me to no end, because I know I'm not the person I present myself as while I'm suffering from SAD. Just last week, we had an unusually high spike in temperature so m...

I completely prefer physical pain over emotional pain. Psychical pain, for me, usually comes with some kind of bonus. First off, I'm a masochist, so when I came home from my summer construction job of shoveling concrete for 8 hours, I felt completely wrecked but in an awesome way. If I've got a brok...

So far I've got a B+ in Anthro and an A in Political Speechwriting, giving me a 3.65 so far. If I really applied myself I don't think a 4.0 would be out of reach for next semester.

Looking forward to a month of non-scholastic activities, though.

Quoted for emphasis. New cars lose a ridiculous amount of value the instant you roll them off the lot. It's much smarter to get a vehicle that's a few years old and has a reputation for reliability.

Therefore I recommend a 2003-2006 Honda Accord.
