Re: 1279: "Reverse Identity Theft"

I have an exceptionally common name. Enough that there is a woman that was born in the same state as me, on the same day, with the same first and last name. I get heath insurance EOBs for her sometimes, and her Medicaid account has caused much confusion with my HMO. This is also a huge problem when ...

Re: "The End is Not for a While"

This would be a bad day to protest in St Paul. I've just been informed that they are short legal observers at the capitol complex, I can't imagine there are enough to make sure your fake protest doesn't result in a beatdown if you are anywhere else.

Re: Upper Midwest US (MN, WI, ND, SD, IL, etc)

Anyone going to the Minnesota state fair? I'm going on Monday the 25th to pet some cows and eat some deep fried stuff- mostly on sticks. Sunscreen and hats are the order of the day. Also, International talk like a Pirate Day is fast approaching. (Sept 19 for those who don't know) I'm putting togethe...

Re: "Babies" discussion

My ex said for years that his parenting plan was to have three kids and feed them nothing but packs of kit kats whilst locked in the basement (get it three kids, two kit kat bars per pack). I think the locked in the cellar thing is just a generally accepted wrong way to raise children that people us...

Re: "Network" Discussion

I would like to add something trivial, yet important to earlier parts of this discussion: Panasonic has unveiled a 150 inch (2160 x 4096 pixels) plasma display at the 2008 Consumer Electronics show. The display of our dreams has come to be. Now I just need to somehow pull together 70 grand...

Are you implying that MN is a Dakota?

Re: Upper Midwest US (MN, WI, ND, SD, IL, etc)

I would like to state for the record that I believe this thread was started by someone from the east coast. This conspiracy theory relies on the fact that people from the midwest generally know that ND and IL are 11 hours apart, closest edge to edge. That is a huge area. I don't even want to drive f...

I'm in St Paul, MN both working and living. I've always wanted to go to meetup of people from the tubes.

Re: "Tapping" discussion

This comic finally spurred me into registering, mostly because I've been tapping on my belly and singing "driving to burning man, driving to burning man" in my head for about a week now. Adult swim produces some awesomely irritating and catchy songs.

Re: POST HERE FIRST - INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

Hello, I'm Jessica, but since you almost definitely know several billion of those, just think of me as Jex. I'm an auditor in St Paul, MN where I recently moved aaaallll the way from Minneapolis (that river is more like a mental block for most people). I went to college in Fargo, ND- so I know how t...
