My current setup is my Ampeg and my Blue Snowball shoved in the closet, then running the chords under the door to actually play outside of the cramped closet.

Re: Telephone-style song creation

I'm going to post about 2:00 worth of bass playing later in the week. I've got a fun riff, just need to set up a recording rig.

This almost seems like it'd be suited to some sort of system to manage forking/versioning. Will look into that.

Technopathy. Put the money making scheme from 'Office Space' into practice, transferring the money into an account that has an inexplicably high interest rate.

Re: Doctor Who

Regarding the season as a whole, I thought it was pretty good. My major complaint is that Amy comes off very flat. It becomes readily apparent that Stephen Moffat doesn't give much of a shit about character development or consistency, and Amy (and Rory to a lesser extent) just sort of change around,...

Telephone-style song creation

So, I've been talking to some people on IRC about producing music together asynchronously over the internet. The analogy is the telephone game: everyone adds/tweaks something until the end. This is just to gauge interest in doing this, I'm sure we can hammer out a protocol as to the specifics if peo...

A knockoff J-Bass and an extremely shitty Strat knockoff.

A 100 watt Ampeg bass amp, a 15 watt practice bass amp, a bass-specific distortion pedal, and the pack-in amp from the guitar.

Also, a slide. Because slide guitar is hella sweet.

Eduardo's All-Natural Pizza in Chicago. I'm pretty sure that was the name. The pizza was goddamned delicious.

The name, however, is a little disconcerting. Why do they need to assure me that it's all natural?

I think Italian pizza is usually like a round of dough topped with tomato slices and fresh ground cheese, in contrast to the delicious tomato sauce/processed cheese product/processed meat product combination in American style.
