Re: Funniest/Most Annoying Code Comments

Google Code Search is great for finding funny, and probably very infuriating comments. "what the fuck" : ;;; ;;; 000 replies -- what the fuck is the author of ircd thinking. ;;; "i hate this" : /* I hate this guy too -- seems to assume that a device can only * have one font size ...

Re: Instrumental music

Off the top of my head, Pelican are worth checking out. Wikipedia describes them better than I can: The overwhelming motif is that of nature, specifically aspects grand in scale. [...] There also seems a sense of optimism, despite the heavy nature of the music. Much of it is performed in major key, ...

Technically I'm not new, but I haven't participated much yet, so hello! I'm Liam -- 20, male, Irish, hairy. I'm studying computer science, possibly going for games design or web development. I love programming, but I have a lot to learn about the mathematical side of things. I enjoy various forms of...

Wow; I never expected to see a thread about doom metal on this forum. This is awesome! My Dying Bride have always been my favourite; I'm also a big fan of Mourning Beloveth. Some great doom bands which I *think* haven't been mentioned are Esoteric (Britain) and Wreck of the Hesperus (Ireland), the l...

Glad I'm not the only one! I'm in 2nd year of Computer Science, and the female count has dropped down to zero as well.

It's a very interesting course, but they put too much emphasis on getting assignments done (which are only worth about 20%), so I have no time to actually study the coursework. :/

This is how I organize my mp3s (well: Genre -> Artist -> Album Title -> Track number). As for my CD collection, it's a total me...
