Re: REALLY Annoying Misconceptions

When my parents tell me to get off the computer because it will 'fry my brain'. Then they put salt in the wound when they tell me to go watch TV or something. Seriously, 80% of everything I know was learned while I was on the computer. I'm gaining knowledge and thinking/problem solving here. I don't...

I tend to comb my hair way more than necessary. Not that I'm conceded or anything, it just annoys me if the curls get curled too tightly. I run a brush through it as often as I can to keep it 'light'. I also NEED to have a big stack of paper whenever I write, and I can't handle pens that don't write...

Re: Making the world a weirder place

Bando, I had that happen too. There was a street I'd often walk along at night and most of the lights would go out as I got near them, and then come on again when I got far enough away. You could see the lights going out one at a time as I went by. What the hell is up with that anyway? Yeah! That's...

It's not so much that I enjoy making the world a weirder place, it's that I enjoy confusing people, even if I'm not around to see the reactions. For the past couple months, the streetlight directly in front of my house has been turning on and off at random times. It also happens that whenever I walk...

This is such a good idea. Make sure you put some padding in the waterslide tubes. Bare plastic may hurt after a while of crawling around on your knees. A real tube-crawler such as I possess knees that are hardy from years of crawling in and around various tubes and other playground equipment. Only ...

Re: Playground tube-maze for ADULTS!?

With enough money, you can get anything custom-made. Even Playground tubes. All you'd really have to do is go to any school playground that has these tubes, search around (without being a pedo) until you see the company sticker that they put on each complete set (there's usually one per 'set'). Then...

I think from a business perspective, having 'guesswork' on your resume would be a no-no. I would just put down your current GPA, but say that you're still taking classes and doing very well in them, or something to that degree.
