Re: The Gojoe Memorial Mafia Discussion Thread

Hangfia So now Van and Madge are on a team. Tomorrow night they will discover that they are now effectively a two person scum team, as Madge has a kill. If I'd survived the night, then we would have grabbed another person, and had something like 1/4 of the remaining players. More over, I was try...

Re: Hangafia - Day 2 - The Stable Room

So Conman is voting for me with the reasoning that I am one of two people claiming to have once had an independent role. He then goes on to suggest that it's because he thinks there might be people who haven't switched roles. Even if there were evidence that anyone had not switched roles, serial kil...

Re: Hangafia - Day 2 - The Stable Room

What does this mean and how do you know this? Because I posted it just the other day. Specifically, Chow wants Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug dead, and is willing to kill people to make that happen. The Bandwagon on Van seems odd, but I'll need to go over it again to make any real decisions about voting...

Re: Hangafia - Day 2 - The Stable Room

I am not sure there is much benefit to a mass claim. Especially a mass claim of current roles. Since it's pretty obvious that everyone and their mother has switched roles by now, I've got no issue saying that I did too. I was Chow, who for some reason isn't part of any mafia group. Probably because ...

He also seems very much like a jester. And Vytron seems very likely to be a liar. Nebuduck has a large wagon on him already, and I'm not certain I want to jump onto it so close to the hammer. Also, I forgot to respond to Spack. His vote for me is based on the position of my initial signup. Since the...

I am also a proponent of lynch all liars. It's my favorite strategy after lynch all lurkers. Given that earlier tells have lost relevance, I am going to Unvo...

Re: Hangafia - Day 1. Where are we?

The long gap between the claim and the use was probably a mistake. Given the initial results of RR's attempt to day chat, and Nebu's actual chat with Van, I was inclined to believe that Nebu had stolen RR's power use. Role blocker is typically a scum role, which makes the whole bread crumbing thing ...

Posting from my phone so I'll keep it short. Firstly daychat vote: Van They seem like a better choice than Spack, who seems like a less than ideal choice, as they seem less town than Van. Re: Hangafia - Day 1. Where are we?

The target is a cop and lets RR know about this, and RR has reason to believe it. RR is not killed at night, due to a doctor or some other similar role. Now both RR and whomever RR chooses to speak with the next day could possibly know that the first-day target is a cop. Later, the target decides t...

New players are clearly all no talent hacks. And since this is based off of the Hangover, the rules are clearly some variant of the Amnesia game that I ran. As far as flavor is concerned, I've seen the first movie, and am about to read the wiki entry that Van so kindly posted.

You've got a very similar elf deck to what I remember from Oddessy era. It's also very close to being a legacy or modern tournament playable deck. The term for it is Elfball. You use elves to ramp into something like Fireball or Craterhoof Behemoth (the behemoth is better imo, as it's in green). The...

Devour Flesh is good, especially paired with Eberos. Nightveil Specter has gone up in price but gives three devotion to either blue or black depending on which god you want to run. It also steals your opponents things, like a mini Ashiok.
