Well, I suppose the implications are a bit bleak. When you think about it, nothing is actually resolved. The mansion is still haunted, and now an already struggling family is out on their ass. I wouldn't call it depressing, per se, but it was a rarity in horror films as I didn't feel a sense of vic...
