Re: Amazon pulls out of Texas

On the other hand, being willing to pull out of a state due to this kind of thing encourages other states not to do this kind of thing. Why do you think New Jersey has 0% sales taxes ?? I'm glad you brought up the example of New Jersey. See, what Amazon is doing is effectively forcing a 0% sales ta...

Re: Intel wants to charge $50 to use your CPU fully

I don't really like this idea on principle because I think when you buy an object you should be able to do anything you want to it - take it apart, overclock it, resell it, whatever, as long as you're not claiming you made it yourself or using it to harm someone. But, I understand it's good business...

He broke one of the cardinal rules - there are no warning shots. By the time you pull your weapon in a scenario like that, you should have already come to terms with the fact that someone could die. Drawing a weapon like that without being willing to use it full up is dangerous and hasty. I think u...

A few caveats: The minimum screen height of 1024 can be a problem for laptop screens, but this game has simply too much information present for a smaller screen to work. The installer (which is older than dirt) likes to shove a bunch of modifications into \system32. Installing it can be a pain, but...
