Re: Anime Thread of Doom

I'm sure I was one of many people who was all excited for Fireworks, but it is, alas, every bit as bad as the reviews would suggest. A couple of pretty bits here and there, but hardly enough to make it at all worthwhile. Be warned.

I am familiar with the hilarity of misleading graphs, but it seems to me that this is another case where Mr. Munroe accidentally uploaded an incomplete comic again. The black line here just seems to have no correlation to the rest of the figure.

Agreed... and Mr. Munroe doesn't abide by nonsensical Biblical creationist concepts of Earth/time like Mr. Schultz did. I acknowledge that Schulz was not a stranger to the Bible, albeit nowhere remotely as heavy-handed as the likes of Johnny Hart. Nonetheless, I assumed 4,000 was an arbitrary numbe...

Quite the decent proportion of my wishlist is on sale, but my backlog is just so massive right now, and bundles are just so inevitable. Hadean Lands is kind of tempting - it's a little too obscure to go on sale very often. https://store.steampowered.com/app/376240/Hadean_Lands/?snr=1_620_4_1400_46 F...

I missed out on the free Totally Accurate Battlegrounds a few days ago. I saw some news posts drifting around about it, but did not clue in to the fact that it was a limited-time giveaway. Oh well.

For Honor is free on UPlay at the moment.

A book thicker than it is wide is simply impractical, is it not? One would struggle to read it without a special stand. It would be something people would publish with the expectation that no one would actually read it. I might suggest the Death Gate Cycle, but as far as I can tell it has never been...
