Re: Just a thought....

Wait how is that infinite, it's an easy calculated number. A compact disc has around 700mb of storage = 700x1024x1024 = 734003200 bits. Each of those bits can either by a 0 or 1 so the total number of 2^734003200 possibilities. There isn't an infinite amount of possibilities. How is this amazing? If...

Gaining admin rights on a LANed computer

We've bought an APC UPS for our home office and it is able to shutdown a computer once the power has gone off. The problem is that it only has one usb output so it is only able to turn one computer off. However, in the setup that you access through software installed on this computer, you can run a ...

Time complexity of a recursive algorithm

For a program I'm completing i'm required to analyze the time complexity of some of the methods. The iterative methods i have no problem with and are fairly straight forward but a couple of the recursive ones are making my mind boggle. public int listNodeCount(boolean iterative) { //this is equal to...

Adblock+flashblock, right there is two reasons for anyone to switch. Other than that you can pretty much get plug-ins for anything you can think of (irc, torrents ect). It's good but slightly bloated, i think the next bandwagon will be opera.

It would make compatibility slightly less of an issue but I'm not sure how ...
