Re: The Gojoe Memorial Mafia Discussion Thread

Unlikely Superheroes: Well, freezeblade's power is really strong vs the kill mafia (cause they're pretty much sunk by it), and not very useful vs mafia B. Usually need to have an investigative role that can threaten solo anti-town from just trying to survive till the end of the game,...

Re: The Gojoe Memorial Mafia Discussion Thread

Unlikely Superheroes: So is the roleblock going to make FB get a cop result, or is he going to see BF visit Sabrar? Also, I think I'm warming up to the setup overall, but I think something needs to exist to stop the game slowing down tremendously if the kill mafia get taken out. It'll be a h...

Re: The Gojoe Memorial Mafia Discussion Thread

Unlikely Superheroes:

Spoiler:
Ah, cool. I don't think that's too bad for a multiball game, and that's with the special endgame rules and a 7-3-2 setup. Both scum factions are weaker in this and town has mostly useful powers.

Re: The Gojoe Memorial Mafia Discussion Thread

Re: The Gojoe Memorial Mafia Discussion Thread

Unlikely Superheroes: I also suspect that this setup may be really town sided, seeing how hard multiball makes it for each mafia team... Part of the issue I think is that even if me and dimochka know who the other scum are, we want them alive for a bit so the NK can whittle down the numbers faster &...

Kind of had to drop that argument seeing as I can't parse Sabrar's last statement in a way that makes sense for his argument... @jimbob: I thought I'd explained before, but he made weird statements about his role in SS2018 on D1 and when being asked to claim, including suggesting that the distributi...

Re: Unlikely Superheroes (Day 1)

Darkest Dungeon's samples were partially useful as an indicator of the power level because they gave the 'normal' level of messaging allowed, which allowed me and SirGabriel to realise that we were much, much worse at communicating compared to most other people and make...

And yet, the sample role PMs are vanilla. So why assume that the actual roles in this game are anything like the sample roles when we've got 2 clear counterexamples from previous LaserGuy games?

Re: Unlikely Superheroes (Day 1)

@Sabrar: taking the example role PM in the OP should have clearly been a bad idea seeing as you participated in Darkest Dungeon also run by LaserGuy. That had 2 sample PMs of vanilla players, and yet everyone was powered in some way (some quite strongly).

You want to actually commit to an ordering there? That's a lot of waffling with one scum read (me) and maybe 2 town reads if I'm generous?
