Re: Best and Worst Discworld

I'm not sure which one I'd call best, but the one I've read the most is The Fifth Elephant. I'd rate the funniest as The Last Continent. One I didn't enjoy much was Carpe Jugulum. My favourite group around which a book is based would be the Wizards followed by the Watch. Terry Pratchett FTW! serious...

Re: These books are AWESOME - First Law Trilogy

What are they about? Briefly? The idea is cliche and its supposed to be: a barbarian, wizard, nobleman and etc travel to the end of the world to find a treasure that will help prevent 'civilization' being overrun by barbarians and evil creatures etc. But the joy is in how its written - it doesn't h...

I just have no idea who's who and why people are doing anything at all. Those are two of the key themes of the comic :D though I guess thats not what you mean... There are reasons for everything... all will be explained given enough time. Its meant to have multiple interpretations - the "comme...

How many cards must you flip over to prove this theory? ---------- My philosophy lecturer (Marius Vermaak) told us that the human brai...
