Re: 0973: "MTV Generation"

As a Millennial, Iet me take this opportunity to say that I dislike those John Hughes high school movies. Ferris Bueller is a jerk, and The Breakfast Club is a muddle of stereotypes that ends up endorsing the very conformity it pretends to reject. I feel similarly. Pretty in Pink really pissed me o...

Re: "Psychic" Discussion

I'm sure people have done studies of which numbers are most likely picked in 1 out of 10 and 1 out of 100. Does anyone know of one? I heard that people like to pick prime numbers more often than random. Check wiki. It's one of those weird things that betrays statistics and the law of averages. Some...

Re: Do you believe ska is dead?

Well it's not a big thing any more but i don't think ska will really die as long as there are marching bands. :D Yeah, pretty much There are bands like Reel Big Fish, Buck-O-Nine, Big D, Westbound Train, that tend to keep to what I'm used to hearing when it comes to ska. Then there are bands like S...

Re: Classical Music Dying?

Tchaikovsky is kind of really wonderful, and I definitely like his pieces more than I like Beethoven's. Bartok, Gershwin, and Debussy are definitely my favorites though

My favorite one was Mattimeo.

Though, basically all I did as I read them was trace out everything on the Maps. I loved the maps.

Re: INTRO THREAD THE THIRD

So, I'm Justin, originally out of San Diego, 18 years of age and a freshman poli sci major at UC Irvine. Yes, I am Asian. no I'm not Chinese. I've found that i'm running out of unproductive things to do with my time, so I decided to join these fora. I was introduced to xkcd by my best friend, who is...
