Xerox XA7-19 monitor backlight failing

Hello, I have a Xerox XA7-19 LCD monitor and I love it... but now the backlight is failing. the screen works for 10 second when I turn it on and then goes black, but if I look close I can still see the picture, so it's the backlight that just goes out. So my guess is that the power supply can't keep...

Re: Leaked video: US army MURDERS innocent civs in Iraq

btw: US military lost original video ... maybe they should ask wikileaks for the raw, encrypted file. Based on this rare and limited insight in the workings on the ground, it seems reasonable to assume that the US military does not actually take a lot of care to prevent civilian deaths, at least not...

No worries. Have a read and let me know your assessment. You're confusing DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) and "don't ask, don't tell." The former is a federal law and the latter is a (military) executive order.

One of those he can indeed remedy at any time.

I suspect that even if we did make that utilitarian decision to openly say, "Yes, we're going to execute innocent people, but the reduction in homicides will be worth it," there'd be a counter-balancing effect... after all, the deterrent is, "I won't murder, because I don't want to g...

I am pretty sure that by "fatherless" they meant "single mother" and by "motherless" they meant "single father".
Even if they didn't, the fraction of same-sex couples with children in those studies will be vanishingly small.

Is there regulation about whether the carriers of genetic diseases a...
