Re: Food fleeting thoughts

I'd like to have a website that takes a list of everything in my kitchen (food, condiments, but maybe even equipment) and then makes recipe recomendations with minimum required shopping. That would be sweet. Come to think of it, I recall there being a page like that back in the day, but it shut dow...

Uhm bitter is bitter? Coffee tastes more like coffee than bitter, unless its been standing for too long. Dark chocolate tastes predominantly like chocolate, with some bitter on the side. Red wine tastes mainly bitter, but with a hint of something else. Most non-dark beers tastes like bitter water, m...

I find far too many things taste bitter and I just don't understand why you'd eat that?

Bun milk. 1 egg Some milk tablespoon sugar teaspoon of salt flour Make into dough Boil about 5dl of milk (not heavy boiling, just get it properly warm). Make tiny buns from the dough and put it in the warm milk. Let it heat at the edge of boiling for about 9 minutes. Serve with sugar. Cheap and tasty.

I feel this was a show with a lot of promise and then someone decided that one or two things they did was a lot cooler than the other stuff they did so they sort of got hung up on doing those things over and over and the rest sort of fizzed out.

Squandered potential stuff.

Adding spice to food after it's cooked, does not work. It doesn't taste right. Spice needs to be cooked into the food, not put on like a lid afterwards.
