Re: Possible Flu Pandemic in Mexico

Mexican Flu. It's at least as correct as Spanish Flu was. Yes, because what immigrants in this country need more than anything is another "reason" for ignorant people to hate, fear, and consider them dirty. No, instead what they need is for people to think that everything thing they hear,...

Apparently some weather balloons can get high enough to detect a few X-rays from the sun. I don't know if its possible to put a powerful enough xaser with a clear shot at the moon on one, though.

So, thousands of cases world-wide, and barely 100 deaths? SARS and bird flu were worse than this, and both of those were still panzies. On a scale of wash-your-hands to -stock-up-canned-goods-and-ammo, I'm saying: what, you don't wash your hands until the flu starts? Eeeewwwww... Bird flu had 421 c...

The bill doesn't just refer to federal servers--in an undefined "state of emergency", undefined "critical" information systems anywhere in the US could be closed. It's not implausible that, in the hands of a president with dictatorial leanings, this could be a very bad thing. Th...
