Re: Top 10 Artists

Only 10?! This could take a while to narrow down... I can't really rank these beyond perhaps the first and second...and it's subject to change rather frequently. 1. Metallica 2. Audioslave (I quite like them, though I only started listening to them recently) Rush The White Stripes The Beatles Queen ...

[S-S-SOLVED] Factory Reset Issues

So I just upgraded my motherboard and CPU and did a factory reset on my machine. After rebooting, the machine now boots to windows and gives me a Compaq (the producer of the original machine) error, not giving me any specific details but telling me to call the Compaq support line. Ideas? If it helps...

Nope. According to Wikipedia, there are 7 episodes left (and it looks like they won't be cockblocking Chuck anymore). Oh, well then. Only one episode left and I'm quite excited for it. I have to agree that the first couple of episodes of this season weren't the greatest. They weren't bad, but nothing amazing seemed to happen. It was about the Paris episode when I felt things started getting interesting. As far as series end, I t...

Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks

Can't believe there wasn't already a topic on this. For the uninitiated, the Zombie Survival Guide is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. A survival guide for zombie attacks. The graphic novel is basically excerpts from the back of the Guide (recorded attacks) pretty much verbatim, drawn. Not s...

Re: You gotta get into Dwarf Fortress if you haven't already.

Designating an area as off limits just gives it a very high movement cost, so they will travel over 50 normal tiles rather than one off limits tile (might be different numbers). Obviously, this won't help anything if their actual destination is in the off limits area, and sometimes dwarves just wan...

Okay, question: How do I send dwarves to jail? I want to thin the herd, so to speak, because most of my dwarves are hunting for food or offing themselves. And please don't send me to the wiki because it is one of the least professional and least helpful wiki's I've ever seen.
