Re: Final Fantasy series.... favorites?

I didn't really dislike Tidus like a lot of people seem to. I really did like him as a character... perhaps because of his naiveness. I thought he was a breath of fresh air compared to Cloud and Squall. (I must admit though... Squall was a very realistic character, but his attitude reminds me too mu...

Re: "Keeping Time" Discussion

collisions? Well... this is kind of a collision... My high school, the drum majors twirled big heavy maces. Well... one game it was quite windy and one of the drum majors threw up his mace in a high spin like always, but the wind was blowing it right toward the girl who was one of the field conducto...

Re: Do some of you buy RPG Source books just to read them?

OK... so I play world of warcraft online, and I really enjoy the warcraft universe (history, world, races, etc...) and there is a pen and paper warcraft RPG (d20-based) just curious if anyone has checked it out? I think that it mostly just "adds-on" to regular D&D as a campaign setting...

Re: "Keeping Time" Discussion

To the people wondering "Hey, how do marching bands handle non-even time signitures?", the answer is, mostly they don't. Most stuff I've ever played, or heard played, is generally metrically simple. My highschool did money by Pink Floyd... 7/8 ^_^ As long as there are the right number of ...

Re: Coding with pencil and paper?

On my tests in Visual Basic, we have had to write out a complete class with pencil and paper. However... these take about a page, max. Writing out 6 pages of code definitely seems excessive, but maybe thats just me. When I was taking a programming class in High School, we had to write out the basic ...

Re: Woman thread - Is it as good for you as it is for me?

yeah, I do shave my armpit hair because it feels gross to me and I don't like it
But generally, i dont bother with my legs. But if i'm going to wear a bathing suit or something I do.... mostly because I'm self concious, but I wish it wasnt considered a "necessity" to most people in soceity

Re: Woman thread - Is it as good for you as it is for me?

anyone else think its unfair that as female we are considered "Gross" if we don't shave our legs, armpits, etc.... and for guys its no big deal to be hairy? I mean, most of us are gonna grow body hair once we reach puberty just like the guys do. They are proud of it, and for us its conside...

I use it in Visual Basic.
For me, it helps keep me organized and remember what is what.

Re: Scripting: Python VS. Lua

Is Lua the scripting language used to make addons for World of Warcraft?
If so... a good learning tool might be the World of Warcraft add on studio which is for Visual Studio (works in the free express version as well)

I tend to not write enough comments =/
Usually because I have to turn them in for class... and well, I'd have the urge to write inappropriate things.

Re: Subtitling vs. dubbing

I usually prefer subtitles.
The voice actors in dubs usually are not very good quality, and seem to lack the emotion of the original versions.

I'm playing 6 right now because I <3 It.
Emotionally, I got really caught up in 10.
7 was OK... but I'm one of the rare ones who actually liked 8 better.
Ones like 3 and 5 were fun for the job classes and stuff, but storyline was kinda absent.

I like GNOME (once I pretty it up at least). It just seems much more convenient to me. XFCE is OK too, but not my preference. I'll try out KDE4 eventually, but for now GNOME is good for me :)
