Re: Pant Thread (because we need more panting)

Fuck me, but I hate people. Or this one person, mostly. He's a really, really funny guy, and fun to be around - except when he is being horrifically sexist/homophobic/any other kind of prejudice seemingly designed to piss me off. To borrow a phrase from Terry Pratchett's Jackrum, "Upon my oath,...

In no order at all,

The xx
Nirvana
Leonard Cohen
The Wombats
Laura Marling
Miles Davis
Amanda Palmer
Alice in Chains
Arcade Fire
Hole

Sort of a mix between grunge, indie-ish and folk. Oh, and jazz from nowhere with Miles.

With me (and my family), the rule has always been shirts, underwear, socks et cetera are one day then wash, trousers are two days, or three max. This didn't change throughout my childhood, which has involved massively humid climates (Hong Kong), quite temperate climates (mainland China) and...well, ...

Oh man, my favourite is when you wake up really early in a big city (like Hong Kong, for example), and you just know that in the day ahead, the streets you're walking are going to be both chock-a-bloc and absolutely sweltering, but right now they're wonderfully cool and completely deserted.

Regarding choosing colleges, it's often said that everyone (even those who've been pooled) goes to the best college. Whilst I'm sure that people tend to settle in quickly and casually start assuming their college is best, it's probably a good idea to work out which college you want fairly definitel...
