the upgrades are permanent, but you need to equip them before you use them, at least in the beta that is how it worked. Some upgrades do take the same slot, such as the armor ones, so keep that in consideration.

EE is being completely re-worked, (becoming EE3, which will be the version in the FTB modpack)

Some other mods not in the mod pack but I believe will be added are thaumcraft 3 and RP, as redpower is pretty essential to the FTB maps.

as far as I know we are using all the mods, with a small additional one. The trees are part of extra biomes xl I believe, the ores are various ones for the different mods. The whiteish looking ore may be tin, but you should be able to mine that with a iron pick... Go into creative mode then middle m...

I want at least one mystcraft age to have crystals. One accelerated with crystals for mining/farming and a void age sounds good to me.

A lot of my "dreams" are right before I get to sleep, and am somewhat in control of the dream but it is very hazy (can't really see anything) and then I trip, waking myself up in a start. My "real" dreams usually involve two stages, usually involving the graphical style of a game...

so, I have been playing around in world painter with the desire to get a CTM style map set up... I have not spawned anything in that world, and yes, it is the overworld.

Just a thought, have you considered building some mountains around the edge so it's like a volcano caldera? Might mess with the look a bit, but it'd add some elevation to work with. yes, hence the option to remove the drop damage. some sceince will need to be done for a separation device. Doors+sunlight would work for zombies and skellies, but may be hard to set up to reduce damage done to the enemies... I wonder, will a damage pot used on a undead increase the exp it gives? if...

Monkey's spawned is seriously old-school and relies on very basic mechanisms like mobs being flushed and long-term clocks. There are faster ones, like what roos is making in the nether, which rely on a bit more specific mob spawning behavior and ensuring there are no other spawn areas. Building one...

hmm, around 1MBps here, surprised it is that fast and not being limited on either end of this connection... (college, 40MBps download shared I think)

EDIT: AND down to the the expected 300-200KBps... and now back up to 1 MBps...I see this changing a lot in this download.
