I don't get it. Is that sort of reasoning or behavior common on Facebook? I'd guess the logic is suppose everyone on Facebook blamed all their friends. Wow, seeing this was a real letdown. On the face of it it seems really dangerous to weigh in on a candidate who is loathed by 60% of the public. The other side is, maybe it's best for the US if she wins, she might just finish the job I hoped Obama would do but failed miserably at: END THE INSANE US ...

Maybe it's time to retire, Randall. The good ones are getting further and further apart. Bow out with most of your reputation still intact.

Don't piss it all away like The Simpsons, or Peanuts (Charles Schulz). Gary Larson knew when to call it quits.

Many years ago I came up with the hack of singing the A,B, C song to whatever tune I liked, since I can never remember the words.

Try it! For example, sing the ABC's to the tune of My Darling Clementine. It gets to be fun. Great to do with little kids.

So, your random number generator could generate a sequence which would never ever ever ever sort your list. The probability is zero, but that doesn't make it impossible. I'm speaking of a finite list (which exists in reality) coupled with truly random numbers (which may or may not exist in reality)...

It can be proven that this WILL sort the list. But it might take a very long time... No, you cannot be certain (for either real RNGs or pseudo-RNGs) that it will sort the list in any finite time. It has the same problem as bogosort and panicsort, namely using random without a heuristic* to change t...
