Well, how do you really quantify what counts as "productive work" when you make your living as a cartoonist? If all that time wasted enabled Randall to draw this comic, (which is his job) then it was really all productive.

How ironic. This comic is about how something we think is new has actually been around a long time. But the comic itself almost exactly repeats the concept of comic #1227. I wonder if this was intentional.

Maybe the reason the 11th is so rarely mentioned is because it's the lowest three-syllable number. "July Eleventh" has five syllables so it gives the mouth quite a workout just to say a single date, not to mention all the L's. Also the number has one-syllable numbers on either side so it's...
