I love these style 'comics' of Randalls. The thing that suprised me was how deep the oil well went. I've known that they can be 5+km but never scaled it in my head with something like Challenger deep

Is it not short for James, which seems to be the English version of Jacobus (again an apostle), also Jacob, Jaap or Jacques in some languages? I don't smoke because of the health risks, I have tried it though and if it wasn't so unhealthy and addictive I would probably smoke on rare occasions as I do like the smell/taste and just sitting around smoking on a cold night. I don't have any problem with people who smoke though and am dead again...
