Try tearing down the depot; that can get traders to leave sometimes. If that doesn't work, build a roof over them and collapse it.

Yeah, I always thought that fire imps were safer to melee, as they don't try to chuck fireballs as much then. Whenever I have a fortress with a magma pipe I just make a meeting area right at the lip and let the dogs deal with them right as they climb out.

You're going to need the [PET] tag as well. Also, you can train carp to be pets without using a kennel (I don't think caged fish will drown when taken out of water), but if you want war carp you'll need to train a dwarf up in swimming then flood your kennel and let the tamed carp loose in the room (...

Singin in the Rain. I was an odd child. :D Nah, s'cool. My parents raised us mainly on old movies - Don Knotts stuff, for example. Even darker stuff like Arsenic and Old Lace which probably had an incalculable effect on my dark sense of humor. We didn't even think of them as "old" movies....
