Not 100% sure yet. As of right now it is pure and applied mathematics double major with a minor in physics. I may do a triple joint major between pure and applied mathematics and combinatorics again with a physics minor.

Well since you already have a degree in physics I am guessing that you already have a stronger interest towards the theoretical, and perhaps not a great connection with the "real" world (ironic that not many people there even know real analysis :P). I can't really say what you should go in...

Oh god, I never thought time off school would be this painful, but REALLY I miss weekly assignments :'(. Anyone have challenging problems in mathematics (preferably applied) or physics I can work on (I'm going into my second year at uni if difficulty is a consideration).

I decided the do what you love approach. I was considering computer science before (although everyone thought I should go engineering) as a good in between of what I want and a pay cheque.. but I ended up going into applied math and physics, and face it, applied math is just plain cool :D.

split it up into two integrals, then do integration by parts. (remember the derivative of arctan(u) = 1/(1+u^2) and the integral of 1/x is ln(x))

Wolfson Essentials of University Physic, or Resnick's Fundamentals of Physics are two popular choices for 1st year university physics. They're quite nice, starting out with newton's laws and quarks and leptons end it with a bang! :P
