Facebook via me

Seems like the appropriate place to ferry this rant: I've noted that if, for example, an unknown fellow Adam posts a status on Facebook, and your friend Betty shares it, it appears on your newsfeed as Betty via Adam That strikes me as exactly backwards. "Via" means "by way of" an...

Yeah, but Down's has an easily-identifiable genetic marker. It's a lot trickier for ASD, there's no single anomaly. I'm a moderately aspie adult with a 6-year-old daughter, and knowing my own pathology (and how I managed to pretty well disguise my neurotypology socially) really helps dealing with he...

Re: How far does high school math go?

We're going back a bit (1989) but I went to a pretty typical public high school in the US, and that's about what you could expect a student who went through senior Calculus to do, which is one year accelerated from the baseline path.

Re: So who's voting for the Ronpaul in the primaries?

What should determine your vote is how confident you are on the policies that will be taken.

That is, in fact, not what will determine my vote. But if it did, the Ronpaul would still be at the bottom of the list.

As you've essentially defined Zionist as "Jew who moved to Israel," that statement has the dual advantage of being both absolutely correct and utterly meaningless.
