Re: 1201: "Integration by parts"

As a current calculus student, I find this comic pretty funny, and I'm glad he waited until now to make this comic :D. Regarding the alt-text, I still forget to add that damned +C to the end sometimes >.> Though I've never heard of the u=v=x means (1/2)x^2 thing. Maybe that's a BC subject? Integrati...

Re: Bombing at Boston Marathon Finish Line.

WCVB television reporters are requesting to bring bullet proof vests and helmets to a news conference? Are they going to try to make it look like they're reporting from a combat zone/gunfight? Seems like its for security. I doubt anyone would start shooting at a press conference, but you never know...

Re: Bombing at Boston Marathon Finish Line.

Regardless of the motivations the bomb maker had to be American because they were too incompetent. Several undetonated devices and a relatively low kill count kind of support this. Most Americans don't know how to make bombs properly. Overseas terrorists, they have more experience. There are plenty...

Re: New to Coding

What can I do with coding? I want to make games, a graphing program, and bots that play games. That's about all I can think to do. However, I get the feeling that there's a lot I'm missing out on if I just do that. Are there any areas that would be beneficial to explore, especially if I'm consideri...

So,after near two years without one insightful, witty, or even accurate comic, a comparison of 19th century safari mentality to rocky hunting is supposed to make us what? Rationalize that rocks have souls or something? Really there is nothing here. Hasn't been for a while. I thought 1187 was insigh...

Re: 1197: "All Adobe Updates"

The JRE updater is so annoying. Every week they seem to find the need to update something, and when they do, whenever I turn on my computer a window pops up asking for administrator permission. (Win 7) Whether I click yes or no, that little bubble pops up asking me to update. If I close that bubble,...

Someone. Find me an xkcd worse than this. I dare you. You can't do it, can you? This is the worst one, isn't it? I actually kind of like it. It's definitely funnier than 1144 , and at least competitive with 1184 , 1188 , and 1171 . I like 1184, thank you very much, and I like this one too. Simplici...

Whoever seems to be questioning his relationship with his Roomba. That's how I read it anyway, seems like this comic may have multiple meanings, or none at all and we're just overthinking it.

The whole Downtown Abbey thing (I didn't know what it was until reading this thread) doesnt really matter to the joke in this comic, and the title text is basically the joke going another step, as she sighs at him quoting the song, and he quotes it again. I thought this was a funny comic tbh, but th...
