Ever had a weird roommate?

It's exam time, and I'm hoping that it's just the pressure of the finals getting to him. My roommate has been yelling at his computer screen for a few hours...on and off. I'm kind of scared to go in there haha.

Tim Meadows back on SNL?

Tina retired Palin, but with Obama being the victor, it may look like Tim Meadows will have something to do. I mean, Armisen's Obama sucks. They should totally get this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0D1w2mjqzk I love how people are totally milking the Obamaness. You have these guys with their...

Re: is protesting the answer?

i remember these riots, they got pretty out of hand for people that were trying to be non violent. I mean, there is a fine line between being non violent, yet disobeying the law...and they crossed that line. in reality, yes they stopped the event, but it didnt do anything to help their cause, but la...

Re: moive madness

Is a movie about Osama Bin Laden worthy of a watch. I'll give it to Morgan Spurlock, Supersize me was good. Funny and entertaining and even a great soundtrack(Wesley Willis' 'rock and roll mcdonalds'). But what is the point of setting out to find the worlds mostwanted man? Does this kind of documen...

i caught the trailer for morgan spurlock's latest " where in the world is osama " (click for trailer if you want). does he really find him in the end, or is it just another one of those documentaries that really conclude to nothing. if we found him, a lot of people would have nothing left ...

Re: Watching movies of, instead of reading, assigned books

RIchard III is worth a look if you're studying of the play is in need of some motivation - set in a 'hypothetical fascist Britain' of the 1930's, with Ian McKellen in the leading role and even Iron Man himself - Robert Downey Jr. Obviously it's not going to be as tight to the text as it could be. A...

Watching movies of, instead of reading, assigned books

i know for sure that "the stone angel" by margaret laurence is on quite a few mandatory reading lists, and as lauded as the book is, it's still pretty dense...anyways, if anyone is interested, and has to read it atm, it's coming out as a movie with ellen paige?! in it...weird. anyways, if ...
