Re: A poll of 'handedness' & writing english right to left

I'm right-handed but began mirror-writing when I was quite young (sitting at home one evening, bored...). Whilst my mirrored handwriting isn't terribly pretty to look at, it's legible and I don't have a problem with smudging, even with my fountain pen.

Re: Eye contact with strangers

I always make eye contact with people if they're looking around. I scan crowds as part of my training, and if people are looking agitated/nervous/twitchy in a crowd, I'm used to having to mark them. Old habits die hard. However, if left to my own devices I'd just as likely be one of those people wh...

Yes, I've considered it. But, uh. "What's up?", "Nothing much, bored" is pretty common. What I've got a problem with is how most people I talk to regularly, except for a few, never start a conversation. And when I say never, I emphasize the never. It's to the point where if I do...

Why why WHY does the 'modern world' expect me, as a single woman, to be able to have a job/successful career as well as getting my new place in order as well as being all happy happy cheery to the creep who cut me up cycling home today?
