I thought it was too obvious.
It's been called weirder things, like fluff and a title I cannot comprehend: unhatched fishes and turtle excluding devices. I also encountered this fluff while looking for past titles.

Yay! You might also like to take a look at a symplectic integrator, like Leapfrog or Verlet. It was obvious from context that in that particular instance log^2 n meant (log n)*(log n).
But of course you shouldn't abuse the notation like that -same goes for sin^k n- and log^2 x is log(log x)) in the general case.
